The story of JODE begins in the creative mind of Jafir Sadiq Sirajee, who founded the brand in 2015 while
studying at North South University in Dhaka. What began as a young designer’s experiment with leather,
design, and individuality soon evolved into a bold vision — to bring handcrafted, high-quality footwear
made in Bangladesh to the forefront of modern fashion.

Jafir’s entrepreneurial journey started with a simple belief: that shoes should reflect the personality and
pride of the person wearing them. Combining his academic insight, design curiosity, and a love for
craftsmanship, he built JODE from scratch — one pair at a time.

His leadership turned JODE into a brand recognized for originality, comfort, and innovation. In 2017,
JODE made history by becoming the first brand in Bangladesh to introduce Backless Loafers, a creation
that redefined local footwear trends.

Guided by his motto, “Dress how you want to be ADDRESSED,” Jafir continues to lead JODE with
creativity, integrity, and a deep respect for handcrafted artistry.
